On July 2, Sejong Technopark announced that it will officially implement the "Integrated Contract Performance Pledge" system, which consolidates nine types of contract-related documents required for public contracts into a single document.
This system aims to reduce the administrative burden of preparing contract documents with counterparties and to improve administrative efficiency. It integrates nine types of contract-related documents?such as the integrity pledge, private contract memorandum, and personal information consent form?that counterparties previously had to prepare and submit individually, into a single document.
In particular, the system has been streamlined by removing duplicate items and including only essential content, so that counterparties can submit all necessary information with a single preparation and signature. Previously, counterparties faced significant inconvenience as they had to repeatedly fill out various related documents when concluding contracts, which increased the risk of omissions or inconsistencies and, consequently, contract disputes.
However, with the introduction of the Integrated Contract Performance Pledge, Sejong Technopark expects not only to resolve these existing issues, but also to enhance the reliability and transparency of contract performance through standardized documentation.
Yang Hyunbong, President of Sejong TP, stated, "The introduction of the Integrated Contract Performance Pledge is not just a simplification of paperwork, but a practical and proactive administrative measure to enhance the clarity and efficiency of contract procedures. We will continue to pursue customer-oriented institutional improvements so that companies can truly experience these benefits."
