This expo, organized by the Korea International Trade Association and hosted by COEX, was designed to support domestic consumer goods companies in expanding into Southeast Asia, facilitate consultations with buyers, and broaden export channels.
The HUFS GTEP Project Group participated at the exhibition booth of Amicell Co., Ltd., a cosmetics company, and conducted all processes with a practical focus, including product explanation, buyer engagement, on-site sales, and consultation support.
The participating students enhanced their understanding of the local market and prepared for real-world communication with buyers by conducting pre-event product analysis, consultation simulations, and cultural lectures.
In particular, the group was recognized for increasing the effectiveness of their consultations by using not only English but also Vietnamese greetings and incorporating local business practices.
The HUFS GTEP Project Group is focusing on developing regionally-based trade professionals by gaining hands-on export experience in the global consumer goods and cultural content sectors, with a focus on major Southeast Asian markets including Vietnam.
This participation in the expo, as part of the 19th GTEP cohort's activities, contributed tangible results to the cultivation of trade talent equipped with practical skills and market responsiveness.
