HS Hyosung Advanced Materials is introducing eco-friendly mobility materials and technologies that realize resource circulation, including: ▲ Lyocell tire reinforcement materials ▲ Recycled automotive floor carpets and auxiliary mats ▲ Waste airbag separation technology ▲ Recycled seat belts.

The lyocell tire reinforcement material is produced using cellulose extracted from wood. HS Hyosung Advanced Materials became the first in the tire cord industry to obtain the international Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification for lyocell tire cords, which was developed for sustainable forest management. For recycled floor carpets and auxiliary mats, the company has increased the recycled material content to three times that of conventional products, enabling a reduction in carbon emissions by approximately 34%.

Additionally, the company is presenting "depolymerization technology," which separates the coating layer of waste airbags to produce recycled raw materials, as well as a "circular regeneration system" that transforms waste seat belts into new seat belts.

Lim Jindal, CEO of HS Hyosung Advanced Materials, stated, "It is meaningful to share our efforts and achievements in developing eco-friendly technologies through this circular economy festival," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in building a circular economy ecosystem and realizing eco-friendly values for a sustainable future."
