Jihye Park, Head of Korea Gems, Joins Gurye Honorable Society

Gurye-gun in Jeonnam announced on July 2 that the 11th member of the Honorable Society in Gurye was inducted on July 1.

The new member is Jihye Park, Head of the New Business Division at Korea Gems Co., Ltd., who has joined the Honorable Society?a high-donor group of the Community Chest of Korea?as the 158th member in Jeonnam and the 11th member in Gurye.

The induction ceremony was held at the Hall of Fame of the Community Chest of Korea, attended by the new member and her family, other Honorable Society members, Sunho Kim, Mayor of Gurye, Inshik Hwang, Secretary General of the Community Chest of Korea, and Donggeuk Kim, Secretary General of the Jeonnam branch of the Community Chest of Korea.

Jihye Park's family, including Youngseo Park, CEO of Korea Gems Co., Ltd., and her second daughter Yesul Park, are also existing members of the Honorable Society, each having completed a donation of 100 million KRW. With Jihye Park's induction, all three family members are now Honorable Society members, and the family has been registered as a 'Family Honorable Society,' drawing attention as a model case of a family practicing philanthropy together.
