Obigo Obtains International Information Security Standard 'ISO 27001' Certification

Obigo, a company specializing in software-defined vehicle (SDV) service platforms, announced on July 2 that it has obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the international standard for information security management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

The scope of this certification is "research and development of software for automotive and gaming platforms." This officially recognizes that Obigo systematically manages the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets?including vehicle software data, source code, and cloud resources?in accordance with international standards.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is a global standard in the field of information security, with strengthened requirements that reflect the latest cyber threats, privacy protection, and the evolving information technology (IT) environment, including cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI).

With this certification, Obigo has secured essential information security reliability in its collaborations with global automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, and partners. The company has also established a foundation to meet legal and contractual security requirements as it expands its SDV service platform business.
