Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation Publishes 2025 Activity Report

Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation announced on July 2 that it has published its "2025 Activity Report," which details its major activities and financial status from the previous year.

The foundation publishes an annual activity report each year, which includes the results of its annual projects and the use of donations. This year’s report covers major activities in 2024, the outcomes of programs implemented since the foundation's establishment, and its financial status.

According to the report, the "Mirae Asset Overseas Exchange Scholarship Program" has sent 7,444 scholarship students to 50 countries over 18 years since its inception in 2007. The largest number of students were sent to the United States (2,374), followed by Germany (1,005), China (598), France (450), and the United Kingdom (323). This program is Mirae Asset’s flagship social contribution initiative, designed to help young people broaden their horizons at leading universities worldwide and grow into global talent.

The foundation also actively operated networking programs among scholarship recipients. To date, 1,975 students have participated voluntarily, and about 300 of them have been selected as global correspondents to report local news from their host countries.

In addition, the foundation continued to support educational activities aimed at fostering creativity and career competencies among children and adolescents from vulnerable backgrounds. Through the "Global Culture Experience Group," students from fifth grade in elementary school to middle school were given opportunities to visit innovative companies in Shenzhen, China, and experience a broader world. Various welfare programs such as the "Youth Vision Project" and the "Financial Independence Project" were also implemented.

Last year, the foundation’s total revenue was approximately 5.75 billion KRW, and total expenditures were about 5.48 billion KRW, with 96% of this amount allocated to public interest projects such as scholarships and welfare programs. Donations from individual donors are doubled through a matching grant system, in which Mirae Asset affiliates contribute an equal amount, and these funds are used for the foundation’s mission-driven projects.

Furthermore, the foundation received a perfect score for the second consecutive year in a comprehensive evaluation conducted by Korea GuideStar, a public interest foundation assessment agency, thereby being recognized for its transparency, accountability, and financial efficiency in operations.

A representative from Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation stated, "We will continue to spare no effort in supporting young people who will lead future generations through a variety of social contribution activities," and added, "We will do our best to become a trusted foundation through transparent management."
