Commemorative Ceremony Held at Icheon Art Hall
Marking the 3rd Anniversary of the 8th Local Government Term
Kim Kyunghee, Mayor of Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, has identified "recovery of livelihoods" and "preparing for the future" as the key tasks for the final year of the 8th local government term.
On July 1, the city of Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, held a ceremony at the small theater of Icheon Art Hall to mark the 3rd anniversary of the 8th local government term.

At the event, Mayor Kim stated, "The achievements and changes in Icheon over the past three years are miracles made possible by the sweat and tears of citizens and public officials working together as one," and added, "I will dedicate the remaining year of my term to restoring livelihoods and preparing for the future of the region."
After the ceremony, Mayor Kim visited the Jungri-dong Senior Welfare Center, where she volunteered to serve meals at the senior cafeteria. She then participated in a sharing volunteer activity in Yusan-ri, Hobeop-myeon, together with youth organizations such as the Icheon Youth Volunteer Association, harvesting eco-friendly crops and delivering them to households of veterans.
