President Joohee Lee of Dongshin University Delivers Leadership Lecture at Naju Women's College Joohee Lee, President of Dongshin University.

Dongshin University announced on July 1 that President Joohee Lee delivered a special lecture aimed at fostering leadership among local women at the "2025 Naju City Women's College."


On June 30, in the multipurpose room on the second floor of the Naju City Chamber of Agriculture and Fisheries, President Lee gave a lecture titled "A Leader's Choice: The Journey of Dignity and Responsibility." President Lee introduced the core qualities that women leaders should possess in the local community and discussed the type of leadership needed in our era.


The "2025 Naju City Women's College," organized by the Naju City Women's Organizations Council, is being held over three days until July 2. In addition to President Lee's special lecture on leadership choices, a variety of general education and hands-on courses have been prepared, including: ▲Managing Stress with Laughter (Soomi Hwang, CEO of Dawon Education Research Institute) ▲DIY Your Own Apron (Hyesun Song, Director of SongS Art Academy) ▲The Power of Writing: "I Can Become Aesoon Too" (Heon Kim, President of Naju Literary Association) ▲Ball Exercise for Awakening the Brain and Aligning the Body (Sehoon Kim, Professor at Dongshin University) ▲A Happy Life Opened by AI (Dohyeong Kim, Teacher at Noan Elementary School, and Gitaek Lim, Teacher at Jeungdo Elementary School).


President Lee emphasized, "A leader is someone who protects, embraces, takes responsibility, discerns their own desires, and understands the needs of the community," adding, "Responsibility, consistency, discernment, and an open mind are all essential for a leader."


She continued, "Every action is a choice, every choice comes with responsibility, and responsibility is not a burden but a right to write one's own narrative," and added, "There is no single correct answer in life; life is a work of art shaped by the choices we make."
