Applications Open Until July 10
in Preparation for Aircraft Introduction in the Second Half of the Year
Jeju Air announced on July 1 that it will accept applications for new cabin crew members until July 10.
This recruitment is in preparation for the introduction of additional B737-8 aircraft in the second half of this year, and Jeju Air stated that it plans to hire a double-digit number of new crew members.
The work locations are Seoul, Incheon, or Busan, and there are no academic background requirements. Applicants must submit official language proficiency test scores that meet certain standards, such as TOEIC or OPIc. Those with proficiency in Japanese or Chinese can apply through the 'language specialist track.'
Successful candidates will be selected through an online competency test, a video interview, first and second in-person interviews, and a medical examination after submitting their applications. Instead of a separate physical fitness test, Jeju Air will officially accept certificates issued by the National Fitness 100 Certification Center under the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation. Detailed schedules, including the announcement of successful candidates, can be found on the Jeju Air recruitment website.
Meanwhile, starting this year, Jeju Air has begun providing training for new cabin crew members so they can give simple greetings and safety instructions in sign language. The training is conducted by sign language interpreters from 'Modurak,' Jeju Air's subsidiary-type standard workplace for persons with disabilities, and a volunteer talent donation group.
