Average Number of Children per Household for Those in Their 20s to 40s: 1.61
National Average Total Fertility Rate: 0.721
2.8 Billion Won in Childbirth Support Provided Over Five Years
The average number of children per household headed by individuals in their 20s to 40s at Yoido Full Gospel Church has been calculated at 1.61. This figure is approximately 2.2 times higher than the national average total fertility rate of 0.721.

According to Yoido Full Gospel Church, this figure was determined based on household data registered in the church's membership system. There are 4,293 households headed by individuals in their 20s to 40s, with a total of 6,922 children counted. Households where children and grandchildren live together with parents in their 50s or older were not included. If these households were included, the actual number of children per household within the church would likely be even higher than the reported statistic.
For the past 10 years, Yoido Full Gospel Church has operated the Birth Encouragement Committee and the Family Happiness Support Research Institute to overcome the low birth rate. The total amount of childbirth incentives paid from 2021 to last year reached 2.8 billion won.
Senior Pastor Lee Younghoon stated, "The low birth rate issue is not merely a matter of national administration, but a generational mission that the church must uphold and put into practice as it protects the life of the gospel." He added, "We will continue to work hand in hand with the government to spread a healthy community culture that respects life."
