On the third anniversary of his inauguration as head of Gijang County under the 8th popularly elected administration, Jung Jongbok expressed his strong commitment to county governance, stating, "The remaining year will be a time to prove our promises to the residents through action."
On the morning of July 1, Jung attended the '2025 Second Half Regular Staff Assembly' held at Chasung Art Hall in Gijang County Office. Without a separate commemorative ceremony, he marked his third anniversary in office in a modest manner with county officials, sharing the future direction of county administration.

At the event, Jung stated, "It is time to re-examine and supplement the county projects we have been pursuing from the residents' perspective," and added, "I will do my best to achieve results that residents can truly feel."
He emphasized, "The remaining year is not simply the passage of time, but a critical period in which we must prove our achievements through action," and reiterated that the direction of county administration must remain steadfastly focused on the residents.
On this day, Jung personally encouraged employees who have worked diligently in the field by presenting commendation certificates to 16 exemplary and outstanding public officials and 3 exemplary public employees.
Jung stated, "Every process in Gijang County administration must ultimately become a service truly needed by the residents," and urged, "I ask that all public officials listen to the voices of the residents and do your utmost in fulfilling your roles."
He went on to say, "I will remain a county head who fully repays the trust of the residents," and added, "Until the very end, I will realize an administration that communicates and works together with staff."
