Expectations for Revitalizing Intrus Investment Management's Hotel Project REITs
Leveraging Platino Korea's Brand Pool and Project Analysis Database
Intrus Investment Management (Division President Kang Shineun) and Platino Korea (CEO Kim Donghyun) signed a strategic partnership (MOU) on June 30 at Gangnam Finance Center to discover and invest in domestic hotel and real estate development projects.
Through this agreement, the two companies aim to create synergy in hotel development and operations by combining Platino Korea's expertise in hotel investment and management with Intrus Investment Management's financial structures utilizing REITs. At the same time, Platino Korea will participate in hotel and other real estate development projects currently under review by Intrus Investment Management. Ultimately, the hotel management brands of Platino Group are expected to be launched through various financial products of Intrus Investment Management to expand the domestic presence of its parent company, JINJIANG HOTEL Group.
Platino Korea is the exclusive legal licensee and hotel brand operator of Platino Group in Korea. The parent company, JINJIANG HOTEL Group, is ranked as the world's second-largest hotel group. Platino Group operates more than 9,000 hotels in over 11 countries worldwide and provides whole-process travel services to 140 million members. In Korea, five brands?LAVANDE HOTEL, 7DAYS Premium, PAI HOTEL, JAMES JOYCE, and CHONPINES HOTEL?have entered the market, achieving various results in hotel development, management, franchise operations, and brand consulting domestically and internationally. After successfully leading projects in Myeongdong, Seoul and Gangneung, the company is currently undertaking additional projects in Incheon, Pocheon, Goseong, and Gangneung.
