Polaris Office announced on July 1 that it has obtained the 'AWS Partner Software Paths' certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The AWS Software Path is an official certification granted to software that meets the Foundational Technical Review (FTR) process, which involves AWS’s rigorous technical evaluation and security and compliance standards. This certification serves as an important indicator when selecting reliable solutions in a cloud-based work environment.
With this certification, Polaris Office can now supply its products through the AWS Marketplace. As a result, the company is expected to accelerate its expansion into the global market.
In particular, Polaris Office plans to actively expand the supply of its B2B solutions targeting enterprise customers, including global conglomerates that operate large-scale cloud infrastructures.
To this end, the company will strengthen joint sales and marketing activities for its solutions with AWS customers by hosting webinars, conducting PoC (Proof of Concept) demonstrations, and organizing various events, thereby establishing a close cooperative framework.
A Polaris Office representative stated, "Obtaining the AWS Software Path certification proves that Polaris Office is a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution that meets global technical standards," adding, "We will further strengthen our efforts to expand cloud-based B2B sales through joint marketing with AWS."
Meanwhile, Polaris Office is a leading domestic office software (SW) company with 134 million global subscribers. In January, at CES 2025, the world’s largest ICT convergence exhibition held in Las Vegas, the company became the first Korean office SW company to win the AI Innovation Award.
Based on this achievement, the company plans to accelerate the expansion of paid subscribers for 'Polaris Office AI' in Korea and North America, where it currently has 56 million subscribers.
