Cathay and Shinsegae Duty Free Launch Two-Month Promotion
Earn 3 Miles per 1,000 KRW on Purchases Over $250
Cathay Pacific Airways, operated by Cathay, announced on July 1 that it is launching a "Triple Mileage Accumulation Promotion" in partnership with Shinsegae Duty Free.
This promotion is available to members of both Cathay and Shinsegae Duty Free, and will run for two months from July 1 to August 31. During the promotion period, members who spend at least $250 per month at Shinsegae Duty Free's online or offline stores will earn 3 Asia Miles for every 1,000 KRW spent. Members can accumulate up to a maximum of 1,500 Asia Miles per month.
To receive the benefits, members must complete Cathay membership verification and mileage accumulation application via the airline mileage accumulation menu in the My Page section of the Shinsegae Duty Free online mall and app. Purchases made both online and offline are combined. If a member spends at least $250 in a month during the promotion period and completes the product pick-up, the benefits are automatically applied.
Shinsegae Duty Free members can also upgrade their membership status to Gold. In addition, up to 50,000 KRW in online partner cash and up to 50,000 KRW in offline store shopping credits are offered.
