The college student job program aims to strengthen the employability and promote the economic stability of local unemployed youth by providing them with opportunities to gain experience and build their resumes in the public sector during vacation periods.

This year, 91 applicants competed for 37 available spots, demonstrating high interest and participation. Yeongdeok County selected the participants through an open, on-site lottery in order to ensure a fair selection process.

From July 1 to August 31, the selected participants will gain administrative experience at 11 different sites across Yeongdeok County, including key events and tourist attractions such as the Peach Market, soccer tournaments, and the Okgyeyuwonji recreation area.

County Governor Kim Kwangyeol stated, "I hope that local youth will have the opportunity to discover and develop their talents through various job experiences and a stable income in the college student job program." He added, "Reflecting the high level of interest and participation in the program, we will continue to work to identify and provide administrative experience opportunities in a variety of fields that match demand."
