Crowds Gathered at Jinhaeru with No Room to Spare

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced that the '15th Changwon Citizens' Day Multimedia Fireworks Show' held on the sea in front of Jinhaeru concluded successfully with enthusiastic support from citizens and visitors.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m. on June 30, 2025, the event opened with a pungmul performance by the Navy Education Command's Korean traditional music band, followed by performances from Hong Hyanghee and Ji Daehan, winners of the Gunhangje Song Festival, a warm harmony from the Beotsori Choir, a musical by the Navy Education Command's military band, and a group drum performance, creating a vibrant cultural and artistic atmosphere.

Then, starting at 8:40 p.m., a magnificent 20-minute multimedia fireworks show combining music, lights, and special effects unfolded against the backdrop of the sea off Jinhae, drawing exclamations from the audience.

Jang Geumyong, acting mayor of Changwon Special City, said, "I would like to thank all the citizens who joined us despite the hot weather. I hope today's fireworks show provided you with a joyful moment. We will continue to organize events that all citizens can enjoy together."
