Kyobo Book Centre's July Lectures to Cover Humanities, Science, Economics, Psychology, and Parenting

Kyobo Book Centre announced its July lecture program on July 1, featuring topics such as humanities, science, economics, psychology, and parenting.

Kyobo Book Centre's July Lectures to Cover Humanities, Science, Economics, Psychology, and Parenting

First, on July 3 at 7:30 p.m., personal branding expert and author Lee Sora will deliver a lecture titled "How to Work with Presence and Live a Successful Life," based on her book "Market Yourself as a Brand."


On July 11 at 7:30 p.m., U.S. stock investment experts Lee Hangyoung and Jang Wooseok will introduce global economic trends and practical investment strategies through their book "U.S. Stocks Are the Answer 2026."


On July 13 at 2:00 p.m. and July 16 at 7:30 p.m., the "Big 10 Master Lectures" program will feature physicist Kim Sangwook and psychologist Kim Kyungil, respectively. Professor Kim Sangwook will discuss "The World of the Self," based on his book "Suspicious Laboratory 7: Magnetism - Why Are We Constantly Drawn In?" Professor Kim Kyungil will explain the psychological principles of attracting wealth without being controlled by money, based on his book "The Psychology of Wealth."


On July 23 at 7:30 p.m., Woo Sukyoung, author of "One Day, the Future Arrived," will present thought-provoking insights on humanity in the age of artificial intelligence.


On July 26 at 2:00 p.m., poet Na Taejoo and webtoon artists Dahong, Soyeong, and Roro will present a special collaborative lecture, "Bora Show," showcasing the intersection of poetry and webtoons.


On July 29 at 7:30 p.m., Joseph Kim, author of "Endurance for Those Who Have Worked Themselves Sick," will conclude the lecture series by offering practical strategies for sustaining a healthy life.

Meanwhile, in July, in anticipation of the summer vacation, Kyobo Book Centre will also hold a parenting lecture for those experiencing communication difficulties between parents and children. On July 19 at 3:00 p.m., Kim Yunna, author of "Mom's Words Bowl," will give a lecture on "Three Practices to Expand Mom's Words Bowl." This lecture is part of the "Children's Book Dream Project," a collaboration between Kyobo Book Centre, SK Innovation, and Save the Children. It will focus on practical language habits to foster healthy conversations with children, including practicing emotional expression, developing habits for effective requests, and disciplining without scolding. Participation in this lecture is free, and registration is available on the Kyobo Book Centre event page.
