Naepo New Town to Cut Residential and Commercial Heating Fees by 9% Starting This Month

Heating fees in Naepo New Town, Chungnam, will be reduced by approximately 9% starting this month.

The Chungnam Provincial Government announced that, as of July 1, heating fees for residential and commercial properties in Naepo New Town will be reduced by 9.09%.

The residential heating fee has been lowered by 11.23 won, from 123.55 won/Mcal to 112.32 won/Mcal. The commercial heating fee has been reduced by 14.58 won, from 160.40 won/Mcal to 145.82 won/Mcal.

Naepo Green Energy has completed the process of reporting the revised heat supply regulations, reflecting the fee reduction, to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. This plan applies to the Naepo area as of July 1.

An official from the provincial government stated, "This reduction in heating fees is the result of communication with local residents," adding, "We will continue to pursue administration that meets the expectations of the people of Chungnam."
