This agreement was established with the aim of nurturing future professionals in the quantum industry, in connection with the newly established Department of Quantum Information Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University. As quantum technology is emerging as a next-generation key growth engine, this marks the official launch of efforts to cultivate practical talent through industry-academia collaboration. Through this, both parties plan to jointly contribute to building the domestic quantum industry ecosystem and fostering talent for the future quantum industry.
Along with this agreement, SDT will offer students from the Department of Quantum Information Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University opportunities to participate in various industrial solution development projects utilizing actual quantum technology. Through these opportunities, students will be able to gain hands-on experience in the quantum industry ecosystem.
In addition, Sungkyunkwan University will utilize various ultra-precision measurement and control equipment developed based on SDT's quantum technology for quantum experiments and computing research. Both institutions plan to maximize synergy by sharing their human and material resources.
