Online Win-Win Exhibition for Women Entrepreneurs to Be Held During Women Entrepreneurs Week
The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association announced on July 1 that it will hold the "Online Win-Win Exhibition for Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs’ Products" to mark the 4th Women Entrepreneurs Week.
Women Entrepreneurs Week is a legally designated week held annually during the first week of July to enhance public recognition of women-owned businesses, which have contributed as a pillar of the national economy, and to foster pride among women entrepreneurs.
First, throughout the month of July, Coupang will launch a dedicated section for women-owned business products to encourage consumption of these products. On July 4, "Chorim Danjimuk's Kongguki Gigamakhyeo" will be broadcast live through the "Gongyeong Home Shopping Win-Win Broadcast," and at the same time, banner advertisements will be used to promote Women Entrepreneurs Week. This broadcast is part of the Women Entrepreneurs Market Expansion Capacity Building Project, which is supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to help women-owned businesses develop new sales channels.
From July 1 to July 6, products from women-owned businesses listed on "Yeowoo Hot Deal," the group purchasing platform operated by the association, will be sold at prices lower than the lowest available online prices, and promotional activities will target approximately 86,000 employees and executives of women-owned businesses.
Park Changsook, President of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, stated, "The association will continue to serve as a channel to widely promote outstanding women-owned business products to consumers through collaboration with various distributors," adding, "We will make greater efforts to expand comprehensive support projects for strengthening market expansion capabilities."
