This Anti-Corruption and Integrity Council aims to foster a fair and transparent organizational culture by carrying out autonomous and proactive anti-corruption activities at the regional level, led by the head of the organization. To this end, the council plans to further deepen and expand anti-corruption and integrity initiatives in collaboration with public institutions in each region.
Going forward, the council will focus on several key efforts: strengthening initiatives led by the head of the organization to improve areas vulnerable to corruption; diagnosing and establishing improvement plans for corruption-prone areas at each regional headquarters; sharing and disseminating best practices through regular meetings; and providing tailored integrity education programs. These efforts are intended to raise awareness of integrity throughout the organization.
Park Sunghyo, President of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, stated, "Through the operation of this council, we aim to realize a zero-corruption organization and become a public institution that meets the public's trust with integrity." He added, "We will do our utmost to foster a proactive culture of integrity in partnership with local communities and citizens, centering on our regional headquarters and centers nationwide."
