Key Projects Urged to Accelerate County Administration
Namchul Lee, the governor of Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province, visited major project sites within the county on the 30th to mark the third anniversary of the launch of the 8th local government administration. He inspected the progress of his pledged projects and local pending issues.
Governor Lee encouraged the prompt execution of budgets by accelerating project implementation. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of proactive, field-oriented administration to ensure that these initiatives provide tangible benefits to the local economy.

The main inspection sites included the Healthy Family Center construction project, the Dasan-myeon Dakkinaum Community Center and the Pyeongri-ri Public Parking Tower construction projects, and the Senior Welfare Center construction project, all of which are directly related to residents' daily convenience.
In addition, he also inspected strategic hub project sites aimed at attracting and settling young people, which are considered key to enhancing Goryeong County's future competitiveness. These included the Youth Complex Return-to-Farming Town project, the Youth Rural Housing project, and the Job-Linked Supportive Housing project.
These projects are expected to play a pivotal role in improving the region's population structure and establishing a vibrant rural community by encouraging the inflow and stable settlement of young people.
Governor Namchul Lee stated, "I will remain vigilant until the end to ensure that the projects promised to residents during the three years of the 8th local government administration yield concrete results. Moving forward, I will continue to operate the county administration from the residents' perspective to realize a younger and stronger Goryeong."
