AI and Software Education for Elementary, Middle, and High School Students
Opportunities for Career Exploration in Energy and Technology Fields
Doosan Enerbility, together with Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province and LIG Nex1, will provide artificial intelligence (AI) education and career experience opportunities for local youth. This initiative represents a joint effort by corporations and local governments to foster future talent.
On June 30, Doosan Enerbility announced that it had signed the "Glocal Convergence Talent Development Business Agreement (MOU)" with Seongnam City and LIG Nex1 at Seongnam City Hall. The signing ceremony was attended by Sangjin Shin, Mayor of Seongnam, Dongchul Kim, Head of Management Division at Doosan Enerbility, and Ikhyun Shin, CEO of LIG Nex1. Doosan Enerbility has its main base at Bundang Doosan Tower, while LIG Nex1 is based at the Pangyo R&D Center, both located in Seongnam.

Through this agreement, the three organizations will support AI and software education for elementary, middle, and high school students in the Seongnam area. Doosan Enerbility plans to provide education related to its eco-friendly energy generation technologies and AI solutions. In addition, they will operate career exploration programs to help students understand how AI can lead to various professions in the field of science and technology.
Dongchul Kim, Head of Management Division at Doosan Enerbility, said, "I am pleased to participate in such a meaningful program to nurture the talent who will lead the future of our industry," adding, "We will actively support students who learn in our region so that they can demonstrate their capabilities on the global stage."
In addition to this agreement, Doosan Enerbility continues to engage in social contribution activities throughout the life cycle. The company is making ongoing efforts to grow together with the local community through various programs, including support for children from vulnerable groups, assistance for youth caregivers (young carers), and scholarships in the energy sector.
