Lim Chaeseong, Chairman of the Sejong City Council, was awarded the Legislative Grand Prize in the metropolitan councilor category at the 22nd Regional Newspaper Day ceremony held recently at the Korea Press Center.
According to the Sejong City Council on June 30, Chairman Lim has been recognized for leading the council in a stable manner over the past year as the chair of the latter half of the 4th Sejong City Council, and for his efforts to establish various policies and institutional foundations aimed at completing the administrative capital and achieving substantial progress in local autonomy.
Chairman Lim stated, "Receiving the Legislative Grand Prize is thanks to the support and trust of the 400,000 citizens of Sejong," and added, "I will continue to communicate and empathize with citizens and build a council that earns their trust."
