Hanju Lee, chairman of the National Policy Planning Committee, convened the 3rd plenary session on the afternoon of the 30th at the Changsung-dong annex of the Government Complex Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and stated, "We will soon present the finalized version to the public."

Chairman Lee emphasized to the committee's planning and expert members, as well as participating public officials, "This matter is extremely important, so under no circumstances should any information be leaked externally," and added, "Since it has not yet been finalized, any disclosure could cause unrest within the public sector. Please pay special attention to maintaining confidentiality."

He explained, "The Tax and Fiscal System Reform Task Force is identifying tasks that require reform in the areas of taxation and fiscal policy and is now engaging in full-scale discussions. The Regulatory Rationalization Task Force is analyzing regulatory rationalization measures for the Lee Jaemyung administration. The National Sovereignty Enhancement and Integration Task Force is working to select policy tasks aimed at increasing citizen participation and promoting national integration."

He also stated, "Because the Government Organization Reform Task Force is dealing with highly sensitive matters, we are thoroughly refining the details under strict confidentiality. The overall framework for government organization reform will be outlined this week, and we will soon be able to present the completed version to the public."

In addition, he called for swift discussions, noting, "Other groups, including the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force, the Basic Society Task Force, and the National Balanced Growth Special Committee, have also been formed and will begin full-scale activities starting this week."

Meanwhile, the committee is gathering public opinion through the "Plaza for All" platform. Chairman Lee said, "The average daily number of visitors has reached 23,000, which is 40% higher than at Gwanghwamun 1st Avenue (the public policy suggestion platform during the Moon Jae-in administration), and the number of policy proposals is about ten times higher than in the past." He urged, "Please ensure that each division thoroughly reviews the policy proposals submitted by the public and makes efforts to incorporate them into the national policy agenda."
