Dongil Rubber Belt, a company specializing in rubber belts, has received the 'Platinum' rating for 2025 from EcoVadis, the global supply chain sustainability assessment organization.
This is the highest rating awarded only to the top 1% of companies worldwide. By maintaining this rating for two consecutive years following last year, Dongil Rubber Belt has once again demonstrated its global competitiveness in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sector.
EcoVadis conducts in-depth assessments annually of approximately 150,000 companies in 180 countries across four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Based on the assessment results, companies are assigned one of four ratings: Platinum (top 1%), Gold (top 5%), Silver (top 15%), and Bronze (top 35%).
This assessment goes beyond a simple review of documentation, evaluating companies at the level of strategic management systems. Global customers and investors consider this a key indicator when analyzing the ESG risks of their partners.
In this year's assessment, Dongil Rubber Belt achieved consistently high scores across all four categories. In the environmental category, major achievements included expanding the use of eco-friendly raw materials, waste reduction activities, and improvements in energy efficiency. In the labor and human rights category, the implementation of human rights policies, operation of inclusive HR systems, and strengthening of occupational health and safety were highly evaluated. In the ethics category, anti-corruption training and the operation of an internal reporting system were positive factors. In the sustainable procurement category, the establishment of ESG risk assessment and training systems for partners contributed positively.
A company representative stated, "Expanding eco-friendly systems throughout our production processes and strengthening human rights and ethical standards across our supply chain led to this positive evaluation.
