'Queen of Dim Sum' Jeong Jiseon and Mukbang YouTuber Hibab Promote Korean Bunsik Worldwide

Hibab to Film Ramen Mukbang Content at the Event

Chef Jeong Jiseon and Mukbang YouTuber Hibab are introducing Korean bunsik (street food) to the world.

Starting from June 29, 2025 (local time) until July 1, 2025, Chef Jeong Jiseon will participate in the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show, the largest food expo in North America, held at the Javits Center in New York, United States. At this event, she will showcase Korean bunsik culture, including ramen. The Fancy Food Show is the largest food exhibition in North America, with over 2,000 food-related brands from around the world participating.

Chef Jeong will demonstrate how to easily prepare instant foods using The Touch On's automatic ramen cooking machine, a product from a U.S.-based company. She will also show how to cook dim sum and other dishes using this machine. In addition, she plans to introduce meal kit sauces developed to suit the tastes of American consumers.

Mukbang YouTuber Hibab will also participate in the event, introducing "The Ramyeonjip," a self-serve ramen cafe in the United States. At this cafe, customers can choose from 120 types of ramen and select from over 20 different toppings to customize their ramen, and Hibab will film mukbang content featuring this experience.

Chef Jeong became widely known to the public through her appearance on the Netflix cooking survival show "Chef vs. Chef: Culinary Class War," earning the nickname "Queen of Dim Sum." Hibab, a YouTuber with approximately 1.7 million subscribers, has gained popularity with her big eater persona.
