On the 30th, a Democratic Party official stated, "It has been agreed that the comprehensive policy inquiry by the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts will be held over two days, today and tomorrow," and added, "From the afternoon session, People Power Party committee members will also participate."
Previously, the People Power Party members of the committee had left the meeting room in protest against the comprehensive policy inquiry for the supplementary budget being scheduled for only one day.
Park Hyungsoo, the People Power Party's secretary for the committee, argued during the morning plenary session, "Chairman Byungdo Han of the Democratic Party unilaterally announced the schedule," and insisted, "Today's session should be completely suspended and recessed so that the secretaries of both parties can discuss the schedule."
