"It Is Truly an Honor to Be Together"
The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) Secretariat announced on June 30 that actor Kang Haneul has been selected as the official ambassador, 'JIMFFACE.' As a result, Kang Haneul will participate in various promotional activities for JIMFF and will attend the official press conference scheduled for August, as well as major events during the festival period.
Executive Director Jang Hangjun said, "Kang Haneul is an actor who has secured a wide fan base across generations with his broad acting spectrum in genres such as comedy, action, and melodrama, as well as his positive influence," adding, "As the ideal ambassador for JIMFF, he is expected to bring new energy to the festival."
Kang Haneul received the Best New Actor award at both the Chunsa Film Art Awards and the Golden Cinematography Awards for the film 'Dongju,' and won the Best Actor in TV award at the Baeksang Arts Awards for the drama 'When the Camellia Blooms.' He expressed his feelings by saying, "It is truly an honor to serve as the ambassador for JIMFF, where film and music come together."
This year's festival will be held from September 4 to September 9 at Mosan Airfield and other venues. The former Megabox Jecheon building will be used as the main screening venue.
