Three-Hour Course Discounted from 60,000 Won to 30,000 Won
Buan County in North Jeolla Province, led by Governor Kwon Ikhyeon, will launch the "Buan Tourist Taxi 50% Discount Event" from next month until August to coincide with the peak summer vacation season.
According to the county on June 30, this event has been organized to support transportation convenience, allowing tourists to travel more comfortably and leisurely throughout Buan.

The "Buan Tourist Taxi" is a reservation-based transportation service that allows tourists to freely move to any destination within the county according to their preferences. It is a customized service that provides practical assistance to travelers without private vehicles or those seeking efficient routes. In particular, it is suitable for various travel styles, as it can be used in connection with tourist attractions that are difficult to access by public transportation, as well as walking-focused courses such as Byeonsan Masil-gil.
This discount event is being promoted as part of an active administrative effort to improve transportation convenience for tourists. In line with increased tourism demand during the summer, the fare for tourist taxis will be reduced by half compared to the usual rates.
Each tourist taxi can accommodate up to four passengers. The three-hour course will be discounted from 60,000 won to 30,000 won, the five-hour course from 100,000 won to 50,000 won, and the six-hour course from 120,000 won to 60,000 won, with each option offering a 50% discount.
Any tourist, except Buan County residents, can receive the discount benefit through advance reservation. Flexible usage is also available, such as joining midway or specifying the final destination according to the itinerary. This service is a practical transportation option for tourists who have difficulty accessing public transportation, such as families or elderly visitors.
A county official stated, "The tourist taxi is a transportation option that allows for flexible route planning, enabling tourists to travel comfortably and conveniently even during the hot summer months. We will continue to provide better services through on-site, proactive administration tailored to the needs of tourists."
Meanwhile, the county also plans to offer additional benefits to tourist taxi users, such as SNS certification events and souvenirs for writing reviews.
