The forum was attended by approximately 100 entrepreneurs and was held under the theme of 'Advanced Technology Development and the Future Direction of Industries, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Smart Factories.' Professor Kim Daesik of KAIST delivered a lecture on 'Market Dominance of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Corporate Competitiveness,' while Kang Sindan, a consultant from BizTechI Co., Ltd., gave a presentation titled 'From Intelligent Manufacturing Smart Factories to Future Autonomous Manufacturing.'
The event provided case studies and the current status of how advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and smart factories are being applied in the industrial field. It also offered an opportunity for participating entrepreneurs to share strategies to respond to the changing industrial environment driven by artificial intelligence in the future.
In particular, the message that "rather than worrying about job losses or business operations becoming more difficult due to artificial intelligence (AI), entrepreneurs should be more concerned about falling behind competitors who first understand and actively utilize these technologies" resonated deeply with the participants.
Starting with this forum, Gimpo City plans to continue organizing capacity building forums and various business support programs by selecting topics such as market development and technology development that entrepreneurs need.
