31 New Appointments in Five Occupational Categories Including Administration
On June 30, Changwon Special City held an appointment ceremony for newly hired public officials and security guards in the third conference room of City Hall.
At this ceremony, a total of 31 new public officials were appointed, including 22 in administration, 4 in engineering, 1 in facilities, 1 in broadcasting and communications, and 3 in driving, across five different occupational categories. In addition, 5 new security guards were also appointed.
The newly appointed officials recited an oath, pledging to "prioritize the rights and interests of citizens and the public good, and to become honest public servants who communicate with the public."
Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, said, "I sincerely welcome all of you who have taken your first steps into public service after passing a difficult appointment exam," and added, "As key players in leading the future of Changwon Special City, I hope you take pride in your roles and do your utmost to fulfill your duties for the citizens."
The new public officials will be assigned to direct agencies, offices, district offices, and towns, townships, and neighborhoods under Changwon Special City as of July 1. After receiving preliminary training on municipal administration and public service culture, they will begin their official duties serving the public.
