This training was organized to enhance the expertise of frontline personnel working to address welfare blind spots in the local community and to provide an opportunity for psychological rejuvenation.
Approximately 200 people attended the training, including members of each district's Community Social Security Council and honorary social welfare officials. The event included commendations for distinguished honorary social welfare officials and a special lecture, adding further significance to the occasion.
The commendations were awarded to 11 honorary social welfare officials who have actively participated in the discovery and support of vulnerable neighbors, serving as an opportunity to boost their pride and encourage continued engagement.
In the subsequent special lecture, Younghan Kim, director of the Byeoljari Social Psychodrama Research Institute, delivered a lecture in the form of a psychodrama on the theme of "Healing and Recovery." The lecture was designed to address the emotions of the personnel and foster empathy, receiving a highly positive response from participants.
Mayor Donggeun Kim stated, "I hope this training has provided comfort and encouragement to the personnel dedicated to discovering vulnerable neighbors," adding, "We will continue to provide various support and training to eliminate welfare blind spots in the future."
