Standing Together as a Reliable Partner for Gyeongnam Residents
NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters, in collaboration with Gyeongsangnam-do Province, the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency, and 18 cities and counties, will officially launch the 'Gyeongnam Companion Loan' support program starting June 30. This program is designed to provide emergency living expenses to provincial residents with low credit scores who face difficulties obtaining loans from financial institutions.
The 'Gyeongnam Companion Loan' targets residents of Gyeongsangnam-do who are at least 19 years old, have a credit rating in the bottom 20%, earn an annual income of 35 million won or less, have been employed or in business for at least three months, and have maintained resident registration in Gyeongsangnam-do for at least three months as of the application date.
Even if applicants meet the eligibility criteria, if they are delinquent or have no income and are restricted from borrowing according to the bank's internal regulations, they will be guided to the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency's loan product, which is scheduled to be launched at the end of August.
To apply, individuals can visit any NH Nonghyup Bank branch within Gyeongnam (excluding local agricultural cooperatives) in person with only their identification card. However, if electronic verification through public MyData or similar systems is not possible, additional documents may be requested to facilitate a smooth loan review process.
Chief Cho Cheongrae stated, "We hope that the Gyeongnam Companion Loan will serve as strong support so that residents in financial blind spots can receive practical assistance during difficult times," adding, "NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters will continue to do its best to provide financial services together with the residents."
