On June 30, Daewoo Engineering & Construction unveiled the exterior design it plans to apply to the new apartment complex that will be built by reconstructing the Gaepo Woosung 7th Apartment.
The company is planning to install a 90-meter-long skybridge connecting two buildings. According to the company, this will be the longest among newly built apartments in the Gaepo district. Daewoo Engineering & Construction has previously introduced such premium amenities, known as sky amenities, in high-rise apartments constructed in Seocho and Gwacheon. The facility to be built in this complex has been named 'Sky Gallery 120.'
To address the issues of natural lighting and privacy, which are common disadvantages of tower-type main buildings, the company proposed a three-unit plate-type tower. Despite the tower-type layout, the company explained that the design allows for south-facing orientation and cross-ventilation. The main gate at the apartment entrance will be created in collaboration with d'strict, a leading domestic media art expert group.
Considering that the Gaepo-dong area is low-lying and prone to flooding, the company decided to elevate the site of the complex. Piloti structures will be applied to all buildings to enhance privacy for lower-floor units. All ground-level spaces will be transformed into park areas. Daewoo Engineering & Construction has named the new apartment complex 'Summit Pranity.'
