Lotte announced on June 30 that it will begin its "predictable occasional recruitment" process. This recruitment method involves opening the application process for group affiliates with hiring plans in March, June, September, and December.

Nine Lotte group affiliates will participate in this recruitment drive, including Lotte Biologics, Lotte Innovate, Lotte Global Logistics, Lotte Energy Materials, and Lotte Homeshopping. A total of 32 job categories are available, including strategy planning, artificial intelligence (AI), finance, merchandising (MD), and research and development (R&D). Lotte abolished its open recruitment system in 2021 and adopted an occasional recruitment system. Since last year, the company has unified the recruitment schedule for each affiliate to once per quarter.

Lotte will also hold recruitment briefings to attract global talent. On July 10 and 14, the company will host the "Job Cafe" recruitment briefings in Busan and Seoul. The Job Cafe is an event for prospective applicants to learn about Lotte Group's vision and business, and to meet with current HR managers for recruitment consultations. In August, Lotte will hold a "Global Job Fair" in Vietnam. This is the first time the company is hosting a recruitment event overseas. Lotte group affiliates operating in Vietnam will seek to secure outstanding talent to enhance their global competitiveness.

Meanwhile, since last year, Lotte has operated an internship program linked to recruitment for foreign students who are expected to graduate from domestic universities, as part of its efforts to expand global business. Final candidates receive a work visa and join domestic group affiliates as new employees. Through this internship program, Lotte hired international students from more than 10 countries in the first half of this year.
