[Market Focus] NCSoft Surges Over 8% on Lineage M's Game License Approval in China

On June 30, NCSoft showed strong performance in early trading. This was due to the fact that the MMORPG 'Lineage M' recently received a 'panhao' (game service license) in China and has begun preparing for service launch.

As of 9:30 a.m. on this day, NCSoft was trading at 201,500 won, up 15,800 won (8.51%) from the previous trading day.

On June 24, Lineage M obtained a foreign game license under the title 'Tiantang: Xuetong' (天堂: 血統). The local publisher is Shanghai Xiaomingtaiji Network Technology.

Xiaomingtaiji had previously served as a co-publisher for Lineage 2M, which also received a game license in China.

NCSoft plans to actively pursue entry into the Chinese market with Lineage M, leveraging its extensive service know-how accumulated in Korea and thorough localization efforts.

In particular, the company aims to provide an optimized service across all areas, including content planning tailored to the local market, service operations, and communication strategies.
