Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province will operate unmanned civil document issuance machines installed at six hospitals and funeral homes 24 hours a day starting July 1.
On June 30, Suwon City announced that unmanned civil document issuance machines at six locations?Ajou University Hospital, Catholic University St. Vincent's Hospital, DongSuwon Hospital, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Suwon Hospital, Hwahueng Hospital, and Suwon City Yeonhwajeong?will be available 24 hours a day, year-round.
The unmanned civil document issuance machines allow users to obtain 121 types of civil documents, including resident registration certificates and family relationship certificates.
Previously, the unmanned civil document issuance machines installed at hospitals and funeral homes operated from 7 a.m. to midnight, making them unavailable during late-night hours.
A Suwon City official stated, "We are operating the unmanned civil document issuance machines 24 hours a day so that citizens using hospitals and funeral homes can conveniently obtain administrative documents without time restrictions," and added, "We will continue to strive to improve administrative services with a citizen-centered approach."
