On June 29 (Korean time), at the final third round of the LIV Golf Dallas (total prize money of $25 million) held at Maridoe Golf Club (par 72, 7,533 yards) in Dallas, Texas, USA, Jang Yubin shot a 1-under-par 71 to finish tied for 40th place with a total score of 8-over-par 224. Starting the day tied for 51st, he carded five birdies and four bogeys. Among the eight LIV Golf tournaments he has played so far, his best result was a tie for 23rd at the Australia event in February.

Patrick Reed, the 2018 Masters champion from the United States, lost three strokes and allowed Kazuma Jinichiro (Japan), Paul Casey (England), and Louis Oosthuizen (South Africa) to catch up with him at 6-under-par 210. However, Reed secured the victory with a birdie on the first playoff hole at the 18th (par 4). He received the winner's prize of $4 million (approximately 5.456 billion won). Reed, who has nine wins on the PGA Tour and moved to LIV Golf in 2023, had never won on the LIV Golf circuit before. His previous best finish was runner-up at the 2023 London event.

Charles Howell III, Harold Varner III (both USA), Tom McKibbin (Northern Ireland), and Tyrrell Hatton (England) each missed the playoff by one stroke and finished tied for 5th at 5-under-par 211. Among Korean-American players, Anthony Kim (USA) shot a 2-under-par 70 to move up to a tie for 25th at 3-over-par 219. Danny Lee (New Zealand) finished tied for 40th, while Kevin Na (USA) ended in a tie for 46th at 9-over-par 225.
