Kia announced on June 30 that it has published its 2025 Sustainability Management Report, "MOVE," which details a variety of sustainability achievements and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) information from the past year.
Kia publishes its annual sustainability management report to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, investors, and ESG rating agencies, both domestically and internationally.
In his greeting, Kia President Song Ho Sung stated, "Even as we achieved our highest performance since the company's founding, Kia has always prioritized the value of sustainability," adding, "We will continue to be a valuable company that actively seeks solutions to global environmental and social issues."
The MOVE report is divided into four sections: the "Introduction" section, which includes the CEO's message and an overview of the company; the "ESG Strategy" section, which covers Kia's ESG vision and key annual achievements; the "Environmental·Social·Governance" section, which summarizes detailed achievements and plans for each of the three ESG areas; and the "ESG Data&Appendix" section, which contains three years of quantitative ESG data. This report was prepared in accordance with various global disclosure guidelines.
Lee Deok Hyun, Head of Kia's Sustainability Management Division, stated, "As ESG information disclosure becomes increasingly important, we have specified disclosures with a focus on key ESG issues from the perspectives of both the company and various stakeholders," adding, "Going forward, Kia will continue to take responsible actions for everyone's sustainability, focusing on sincerity in addressing climate change, enhancing stakeholder value and mutual growth, and transparent and ethical management."
Since 2022, Kia has been publishing its sustainability management report in PDF format without separate printing, in order to minimize environmental impact. Kia's sustainability management report is available for anyone to view on the Kia website.
