Midleton Distillery, Producer of Irish Whiskey Jameson, Wins Title of "World's Best International Distillery"

41 Awards at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition

Pernod Ricard Korea announced on June 30 that the Midleton Distillery, which produces the Irish whiskey brand Jameson and the single pot still whiskey Redbreast, has been named the "World's Best Distillery" after winning 41 awards at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC).

Located in County Cork, Ireland, the Midleton Distillery boasts a 200-year tradition and produces top-quality Irish whiskey based on expertise and craftsmanship. The distillery is home to the world's best-selling Irish whiskey, Jameson, as well as Redbreast, Powers, Spot Whiskey, Method and Madness, and Midleton Very Rare.


At the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Midleton Distillery won a total of 41 medals, including 21 Double Golds, 10 Golds, 9 Platinums, and 9 Best of Class Finalists, earning the title of "Most Awarded International Distillery."


A variety of Jameson and Redbreast products, including Jameson Single Pot Still, Jameson Triple Triple Malaga Edition, Jameson Triple Triple Chestnut Edition, Redbreast PX Edition, Redbreast 21 Year Old, and Redbreast 18 Year Old, were awarded Double Golds. In particular, Jameson Crested, Redbreast Lustau Edition, Redbreast 15 Year Old, Redbreast 27 Year Old, and Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength also received the Platinum medal, which is given to products that have won Double Gold for three consecutive years.
