According to the Eunpyeong Police Station and the Ministry of Employment and Labor on June 27, at around 10:55 a.m. that day, a male worker in his 60s, referred to as Mr. A, who was employed by a civil engineering company, was struck by falling soil while performing backfilling work at the construction site of the "Hillstate Mediale" apartments by Hyundai Engineering & Construction, located within the Daejo 1 District redevelopment project in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul.
