Actor Shin Hyunjoon attended a luncheon event held at the Blue House State Guesthouse as a member of a veterans' family.

On the 27th, Shin Hyunjoon personally shared his attendance at the event by posting photos taken at the Blue House State Guesthouse on his social media account.

He is the son of the late Colonel Shin Inkyun, a Korean War veteran, and participated in the event as a member of a veterans' family and as a special invitee. The published photos show commemorative pictures with President Lee Jaemyung, First Lady Kim Hyekyung, and other attendees, views of the event venue, and a towel inscribed with the phrase "Remembering the heroes who defended the Republic of Korea."

Without further explanation, Shin Hyunjoon honored his father's sacrifice and conveyed the significance of the event through these photos.

The Presidential Office invited about 160 national merit recipients and veterans' families to the Blue House State Guesthouse for a luncheon in commemoration of the Month of National Defense and Veterans. The Presidential Office explained, "This event is to offer the highest respect to those who sacrificed and dedicated themselves for the country, and to express our gratitude and appreciation."

Event attendees entered the State Guesthouse as the honor guard of the Korean Armed Forces, dressed in traditional uniforms, stood in formation and a traditional military band performed. President Lee Jaemyung and First Lady Kim Hyekyung personally greeted each attendee to show their respect. The luncheon menu featured health-promoting dishes such as chilled abalone with red snow crab meat and braised short rib with pine mushrooms.

The event's slogan was "Noble sacrifice, we will repay you with a better Republic of Korea," reflecting the commitment to remember and honor the sacrifices made for the nation.

In addition to Shin Hyunjoon, the guests included Yoon Junghui, the younger sister of the late martyr Yoon Sangwon, the real-life inspiration for "March for the Beloved," and Kim Kilja, the mother of the late martyr Moon Jaehak, who was the model for the novel "The Boy Is Coming."
