The special Korean medicine treatment program held at the Pohang Steelworks Industrial Health Center on June 25 received a positive response from employees.

For this special program, specialized medical staff from Daegu Haany University Pohang Korean Medicine Hospital visited the steelworks in person to provide employees with various Korean medicine treatments, including medical consultations, acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping therapy.

In particular, employees suffering from chronic musculoskeletal pain or internal and external diseases expressed high satisfaction, as they were able to conveniently receive professional Korean medicine treatment on site.

Employees who participated in the special Korean medicine treatment program reported that it was beneficial, as they could check their health status through one-on-one personalized consultations and receive practical advice on health management and lifestyle improvements they had been curious about.

An employee from the Environmental Resources Group said, "I have often experienced discomfort due to severe neck and shoulder pain, but it was very helpful to receive Korean medicine treatment directly at the workplace," and added, "I hope such welfare programs will be offered more frequently."

Another employee commented, "It was my first time receiving Korean medicine treatment, and it was more refreshing than I expected, so I was satisfied," expressing gratitude to POSCO for providing opportunities for both Western and Korean medicine treatments for employees' health.

Pohang Steelworks aims to alleviate chronic pain and promote health through this special Korean medicine program, and plans to further strengthen various welfare programs to create a healthier working environment for all employees, starting with this initiative.
