Jin of BTS is embarking on his first solo fan concert tour since his debut.
On June 27, through his agency BigHit Music, Jin shared, "I'm both excited and a bit nervous to be holding my first solo fan concert, but I'm really looking forward to meeting ARMY (the fandom name). I've worked hard to prepare so I can bring you happiness and fun, so I hope you'll come and enjoy the show together with me."
He highlighted that one of the main features of this concert is that there will be many opportunities for the audience to sing along. Jin added, "I hope everyone will jump and sing together. If you remember this moment as joyful and happy, I will be truly delighted as well."
'#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR' is planned as a spin-off of Jin's original variety content 'Run Seokjin,' which was released on the official BTS YouTube channel. The concert title reflects the journey of Jin setting out to meet ARMY.
This fan concert will be conducted in a format that allows real-time interaction and collaboration with the audience. Jin's unique sense of humor and creative ideas will be reflected throughout the stage, adding various layers of entertainment.
Starting with the Goyang concert, Jin will hold a total of 18 fan concerts in 9 cities, including Chiba and Osaka in Japan; Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the United States; London in the United Kingdom; and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The Goyang concert will be broadcast live on a large screen installed at Jamsil Indoor Stadium and will also be streamed online via the global platform Weverse.
