[Review] Generating Ideas and Detecting Urgent Issues with NewnAI's "QuettaAI"

AI Analysis Platform 'QuettaAI' Launched in January
Detailed Big Data Analysis by Online Channel
Expected to Streamline Marketing and Brand Management Tasks

[Review] Generating Ideas and Detecting Urgent Issues with NewnAI's "QuettaAI" Search results for 'Buldak Bokkeummyeon' on NewnAI's 'QuetaAI' service. It shows the number of posts mentioning Buldak Bokkeummyeon over the past year by channel, and analyzes related words and reputation to understand consumer tendencies.

"By entering a keyword, you can instantly grasp the trends across major channels such as Instagram and YouTube. This can dramatically reduce the time and cost companies spend on marketing."

I tried out 'QuettaAI,' a service launched this January by NewnAI, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based big data analytics company. QuettaAI is a big data-based AI platform that allows users to input keywords and then provides a detailed analysis of trends across 12 major channels, including Instagram, YouTube, X, various communities and cafes, blogs, and media. NewnAI, founded in 2004 and scheduled to go public on the 4th, has incorporated years of accumulated data, expertise, and technology into QuettaAI. It is a B2B (business-to-business) service that requires a monthly subscription fee. It is expected to be useful for marketing, product development, brand management, and market trend research for companies and organizations.

After logging into QuettaAI, I set the keyword to 'Buldak Bokkeummyeon' and started the AI analysis. The results were broken down into 10 main topics and 42 subtopics, allowing me to see in which areas Buldak Bokkeummyeon was most frequently mentioned. Over the past year, there were about 150,000 online posts mentioning Buldak Bokkeummyeon. By analyzing the context and words in SNS posts, blog entries, and online media, the system determined that around 70% of the content was positive. Consumers consistently posted tasting reviews, and with growing interest due to recent overseas expansion, mentions were most frequent in blogs, followed by media and X. Buldak Bokkeummyeon was especially popular among women in their 20s, and it was interesting to see consumers developing new recipes by combining it with various foods.

[Review] Generating Ideas and Detecting Urgent Issues with NewnAI's "QuettaAI" Quetai showing the situation at the time of the tasting event held with a shipboard party concept to celebrate the Danish government's withdrawal of the Buldak Bokkeummyeon recall. It can capture various situational changes related to the keywords in real time.

The AI analysis was so detailed that it made me wonder if such depth was really necessary. It allowed for specific comparisons of how public opinion changed by channel on a monthly and daily basis, and with a single click, I could easily see what comments were posted on news articles. By comparing with competing products, I could see how the descriptions of each flavor differed. For example, Shin Ramyun was often described as 'spicy,' while Buldak Bokkeummyeon was frequently associated with 'pain.' The person in charge could monitor the company's reputation even after work hours. If negative news articles or an increase in SNS posts appeared between 7 p.m. and 9 a.m. the next day, an emergency alert could be set to notify the person responsible. When a 'turning point' occurred with a rapid shift in public opinion, an AI-based automatic report would be generated to help staff analyze the causes in depth.

Using QuettaAI, I also found cases where people made naengmyeon using Buldak sauce, and one restaurant even created and sold a 'Buldak set.' Observing these trends, I thought the service could also be used to develop new items. If I got stuck while using it, there was a function to send a message to a NewnAI representative. However, whether QuettaAI will be used only for daily trend reports or also as a source of ideas for new product launches will depend on how the person in charge utilizes it.
