Toss Bank's Game Savings Account Attracts 500,000 Customers... Adds "Jelly Friends" Feature

Toss Bank has announced that its recently launched Game Savings Account can now be enjoyed with friends. On June 27, Toss Bank revealed that it has added a new feature called "Jelly Friends" to its "Jelly Hunt Game," which was introduced in May.

The "Jelly Friends" feature allows customers to make saving money more enjoyable by playing with friends, adding a new gaming element to the existing "Jelly Hunt" game. Up to five friends can be invited, and once connected, users can gift each other one block-breaking chance per day.

The Game Savings Account, introduced by Toss Bank in May, is a freely accessible account that allows users to play the Jelly Hunt Game upon joining. The game involves breaking blocks to find jellies, with each block requiring a deposit of 100 KRW. Each time a jelly is found, users receive an instant random reward, and after completing all 30 stages, they can withdraw the accumulated rewards.

Within just over a month of its launch, the Game Savings Account surpassed 500,000 cumulative customers. The immediate rewards and the novelty of game-based saving have proven to establish a new financial experience. By age group, the highest number of sign-ups came from those in their 50s and above, followed by those in their 40s, 20s, 30s, and teens. However, participation in the game was highest among teens and people in their 20s, who are just beginning to show interest in saving.

A Toss Bank representative stated, "The Game Savings Account is an innovative financial product that combines saving with gaming and fun, helping to change the perception that finance is difficult and boring, and contributing to the spread of an enjoyable and healthy savings culture." The representative added, "We will continue to strive to make financial services easy and enjoyable for everyone, based on user experience."
