Gwangju City Council Selects Jang Mansu, Road Project Division Team Leader, as June Commendable Public Official

On June 26, Gwangju City Council in Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Heo Kyunghaeng) selected Jang Mansu, team leader of Urban Road Team 1 in the Road Project Division, as the June Commendable Public Official of the Gwangju City Council and presented a certificate in the chairman's office.

Jang Mansu, who was selected as the June Commendable Public Official upon the recommendation of Council Member Hwang Soje (The Minjoo Party of Korea / Opo 1-dong, Opo 2-dong, Sinhyeon-dong, Neungpyeong-dong), has been serving as the team leader of Urban Road Team 1 in the Road Project Division. He has dedicated himself to urban development and improving the living environment of citizens. In particular, he was recognized for his contributions to resolving long-standing issues of local residents by overseeing the construction of long-unexecuted urban planning roads, thereby contributing to the establishment of Gwangju City's road network system.

Meanwhile, Gwangju City Council recommends and selects commendable public officials each month based on nominations from council members, recognizing executive branch officials who fulfill their duties as public servants and actively support legislative activities. Those selected as commendable public officials are nominated as candidates for the administrative division of the 17th Gwangju City Council Awards.
