MOU Signed to Promote ESG Management and Productivity in Industrial Complexes
Permanent Partnership Established for Sustainable Growth
Support for Digital Transformation and Carbon Neutrality Included
On June 26, the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Productivity Center at the Korea Productivity Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to promote the adoption of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management and enhance productivity among companies located in industrial complexes.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to establish a permanent cooperative partnership and build a mid- to long-term collaboration system for the sustainable growth of companies in industrial complexes. This includes supporting ESG management, digital transformation, and the implementation of carbon neutrality.
The main points of the agreement include: support for ESG management and carbon neutrality for companies in industrial complexes; strengthening digital transformation and AI competency for employees; promoting business innovation and exports; developing education and certification programs to nurture specialized talent; and discovering mutually beneficial cooperative projects.
Sanghoon Lee, President of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, stated, "For companies in industrial complexes to secure competitiveness in the global market, ESG management and digital transformation capabilities are essential." He added, "We will closely cooperate with the Korea Productivity Center to solidify the foundation for the sustainable growth of tenant companies."
