Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 26th that the '1st Hwaseong Special City Entrepreneurs' Day' commemorative event was held successfully on the 25th at the Hwaseong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Convention Hall, with more than 200 businesspeople in attendance.

This event was organized for the first time this year to celebrate the growth achieved together with local businesses, to encourage business activities, and to promote a culture of respect for entrepreneurs.
The event included a special lecture for entrepreneurs, an opening performance, a screening of a video on Hwaseong's industrial development, an awards ceremony for outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises and exemplary entrepreneurs, the appointment of division heads for the SME support advisory group, presentations of achievements by outstanding companies, and a performance wishing for corporate growth.
At the event, Achimhae Medical Co., Ltd., Himpel Co., Ltd., Erangtech Co., Ltd., and UST Co., Ltd. received the SME Grand Prize.
Mayor Myunggeun Jung of Hwaseong City stated, "We will continue to actively support businesses so that they can freely take on challenges and achieve results, and make Hwaseong the best city for doing business."
